Of the original 16 contenders, only two luxury listings remain.
From the very start, the lakeside looker in Lake Geneva, WI has taken the lead. This home won 86 percent of the vote in its first-round match up against the stately Georgian revival in Shaker Heights, OH, and took the Midwest region championship in round 2 with 68 percent against its Boyne City, WI rival. Round 3 was a closer contest, but the Wisconsin wonder still pulled out a victory with 54 percent of the vote over the sprawling Mediterranean estate in Gold Canyon, AZ.
Leading the pack in its own brackets, the out-of-this-world Jupiter, FL villa beat out its third-round rival in New Canaan, CT, taking 58 percent of the vote. That’s after the home handily scored a Round 1 victory with 76 percent of the vote against a stately traditional in Dallas, and picked up 55 percent of the vote to steal the South region title from its Round 2 opponent, Asheville’s Old World-style estate.
